As part of its strong European growth, TDI is looking for a COMMERCIEEL DIRECTEUR M/V. In association with the Board, you oversee the development of the company's business with transport and logistics players as part of a newly created job and activity in the Netherlands.


The main responsibilities of this position are as follows:

·       Manage the development of an activity in the Netherlands

·       Ensure the monitoring and analysis of the competition 

·       Prospect and open new accounts based on its commercial expertise

·       Develop a deep understanding of customers and identify growth opportunities 

·       Proactively identify development levers

·       Present the service offer and connect prospects and customers

·       Participate in the recruitment of local teams 

·       Manage local teams to ensure the success of the implementation 

·       Set up and ensure a lasting relationship with the carriers of the territory

·       Organize and participate in trade shows in the new territory

Required profile 

Education: Higher education in Business development, Marketing, Project Management or Business creation.

Experience: Strong previous experience working as a Business Developer. You have a knowledge of Transport / Logistic sector.

Required qualities: The job requires an excellent communication as well as collaboration skills. Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines to ensure compliance requirements are met. Proven ability in demonstrating attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills. The leadership you show as you progress steadily toward these three goals will help you build a trusted, aligned team. The candidate must be fluent in the Dutch and English language. A French speaker is a real advantage. Furthermore, the candidate must have excellent communication skills and commercial understanding.
