The Group's Information Systems directorate is currently recruiting an internal HEAD OF PMO M/F, for its own needs. You are responsible for the overall management of Information Systems and Technology Project Portfolio, providing insightful information and needs of decision to Group CIO. You define and overlook the Governance process as well as the Project Management framework to guide all Information Systems and Technology projects execution across the board. You endorse the critical role of close interaction and advice to project managers engaged in key initiatives, taking an active participation in the animation of the global Project Management community. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Governance and Methods, you lead the Portfolio Governance process including planning and facilitating the Governance meetings. You work with project sponsors, business stakeholders, and IT managers to ensure that business cases and project charters are appropriately documented and meet project standards and practices. You manage a team including a PPM Solution Manager and Project Management Officers (PMO). You are responsible for consolidating the project portfolio by defining, disseminating, and ensuring the execution of best practices. The main responsibilities of this position are as follows:

·       Overview the health of the Information Systems and Technology Global Project Portfolio

·       Provide insightful reporting and information to C-Level

·       Define and maintain Information Systems and Technology processes including schedule, governance, project methodology, and resource capacity management

·       Ensure project management standards are being executed

·       Advise to Project Managers which projects are deviating from plan, cost, or scope

·       Host Portfolio reviews with CIO Board Committee and individual projects gate reviews

·       Take leadership and actively participate in Project Managers community to promote a culture of high project management standards, including management of change

·       Drive improvements and ensure industry best practices are leveraged

·       Perform team member supervision including performance and career growth

·       Ensure the team is properly trained and staffed to handle the projected workload

·       Make recommendations to management regarding long-term contractors

·       Implement project communications including project steering committee meetings

·       Manage project risks and issues and implement mitigation plans

·       Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives

Required profile 

Education: Master’s degree in Technology or IT.

Experience: More than 8 years of experience performing project management role on complex projects.  You have a strong background in managing an IT Portfolio or Project Management Office. Experience with PPM market lead tools, business analysis discipline and lean concepts and applying them in a technology environment.

Required qualities: You have a strong experience in people management and organization set-up and change management. Good troubleshooting skills. Confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and possessing of a high sense of urgency and personal integrity. You have an excellent leadership, interpersonal and organization skills. You are dynamic, agile, and able to bring the word of the CIO Group. You demonstrate ability to set and meet goals, asses' resource needs, develop schedules, monitor, and communicate status, and develop processes and procedures. You can efficiently prioritize work, promptly deliver solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels ensuring customer satisfaction and process orientation.  You are diplomatic and able to lead by influence. You are known as a “Solution” minder with  quick learning and methodical problem-solving capabilities. You are passionate about unlocking business value and are energized about solving problems with a great team. You must have a demonstrated a high level of English.
