SOFTWARE ASSET OFFICE MANAGER M/F

As part of its strong growth, the Group's Information Systems directorate is currently recruiting an internal SOFTWARE ASSET OFFICE MANAGER M/F, as a newly created job, for its own needs. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Group CIO Office, you lead the creation of the software asset management service as a facilitator in the Group. You ensure the compliance of the organization's software installation, to reduce the risks associated with publisher audits. You optimize the uses and costs of licenses, maintenance, and cloud services. You provide expertise and support to the IT department, the human resources department, the purchasing department, and the legal department in their technical and commercial relations with software publishers. The main responsibilities of this position are as follows:

·       Plans and coordinates software inventories within the organization

·       Ensures that the license management data repository is maintained

·       Manages publisher audits from the start

·       Collects, verifies, and centralizes inventory data

·       Verifies that installations and uses comply with acquired rights, contracts, and  publishers'  licensing rules

·       Evaluates variances and values risks

·       Proposes action plans to reduce risks and restore compliance

·       Optimizes software purchases by avoiding redundancies and shortfalls in relation to needs and maintains license allocations and assignments. 

·       Pilots the implementation of optimizations

·       Identifies technical, commercial, and contractual levers to control or reduce software needs and costs

·       Evaluates the savings and the potential implementation costs and associated impacts

·       Assists project managers and buyers to quantify and optimize acquisition costs and inform them of license counting methods and associated costs

·       Participates in publisher negotiations and supplier management

·       Implements software asset management processes and interfaces with existing IT processes, purchasing

·       Coordinates the company's internal software asset management initiatives

Required profile 

Education: Master’s degree or Engineering diploma in Technology, IT or Generalist.

Experience: You capitalize on your experience in software asset management to build the activity. You know how to negotiate with global software publishers. You know how to optimize a software asset management strategy roadmap. You have strong IT knowledge and fluent in English. You have a strong taste and skills for data analysis, IT, and contracts. You have previous professions related to IT audit, IT purchasing, quality and IT consulting. You are familiar with a software asset management tool like Service Now, Aspera or Flexera. 

Required qualities: You know how to raise awareness and set up processes. You are a pioneer in your approach and can plant the flag of software asset management. Confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and possessing of a high sense of urgency and personal integrity. You have an excellent leadership, interpersonal and organization skills. You are dynamic, agile, and able to bring the word of the CIO Group. You demonstrate ability to set and meet goals, asses' resource needs, develop schedules, monitor, and communicate status, and develop processes and procedures. You can efficiently prioritize work, promptly deliver solutions, and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels ensuring customer satisfaction and process orientation.  You are diplomatic and able to lead by influence. You are known as a “Solution” minder with  quick learning and methodical problem-solving capabilities.
